Dosing belt scales are used to feed continuous systems such as mixers, mills or collection belts in various industrial fields.
The belt speed and weight of the material on the dosing belt are measured by using weight and speed measurement units. Received signals are sent to electronic industrial computers equipped with microprocessors. The computer compares the set flow rate with the measured flow rate. If the measured flow rate is lower than the set flow rate, it speeds up the dosing band or vice versa.
Generally, load cells that are not sensitive to lateral loads are used in dosing belt scales. HGX-1250 weighing modules are used for measuring load cell values in the control system. The speed information of the belt is measured with an incremental encoder installed at the suitable position.
